Engagement and connection to the community is one of the core aims of It’s All Good; Family Nutrition as I believe that it is important to support each other, and that there is nothing more instinctual or delightful than gathering with new and old friends alike over the common love and need for food. It is also upon this platform that tremendous growth, creation and change can occur. In the words of Helen Keller “alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”.

This vision is something that I will achieve through initiation and involvement in community gardens, education programs with various rehabilitation and enrichment groups, partnerships with local food banks and local food producers, as well as through community cooking nights and free community events.
